Who We Are
For over 30 years the Boys & Girls Club of Cypress has been in the forefront of youth development, working with people of all economic, ethnic, social and family circumstances, with special concern for those who are disadvantaged.
The Boys & Girls Club provides children with a safe place to grow and learn, on-going relationships with caring adult professionals, and life enhancing programs.

Today, over 800 youth between the ages of 6 and 17 participate in the Club's two afterschool locations and fun-filled summer program. The Club is open each day after school from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and during the summer months from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Club also hosts a variety of family activity nights as well as parent education classes regarding early childhood development and nutrition and fun "mommy and me" activities throughout the year. |

The Club accommodates families by providing transportation to children who attend many local schools. |

In 2007, the Club opened a second location at Swain Elementary School, in partnership with the Cypress School District. This program serves 80 children and day, providing afterschool homework support and academic enrichment activities as well as traditional Boys & Girls Club social and recreational activities. |

Free membership is provided to children of military personnel. Although the Club keeps fees very low, scholarships are offered for no-cost services to children whose families cannot afford to pay fees. The Club has a policy to ensure that no child is turned away due to the inability of their family to pay fees. |
